Camps and Events
RIPS Baseball Training Complex is conducting camps and events for 2009 and 2010. We will be hosting three Infield Camps this winter, Camp #1 runs weekly from November 14, 2009 through December 5, 2009; Camp #2 will begin January 2, 2010 through January 23, 2010; and Camp #3 runs weekly from January 30, 2010 through February 20, 2010.
Chris Minaker and Aaron Horrocks will be running Specialty Hitting Camps on December 12, 2009; December 19, 2009; February 27, 2010; and March 6, 2010. These camps will have two sessions, 12U (9am-11:30am) and 13&Over (12:00pm-2:30pm).
Ryan Fox will be organizing our Catching Camp on November 21, 2009. This intense camp will give your receiver the skills to improve his mental and physical presence behind the plate.
We will also be holding our week long summer camps in August. Again this year, these camps will have indoor and outdoor sessions. We will be posting these dates after the 1st of the year.
Scout and College Nite is an every year affair. March 8, 2010 we will select 80 players from Washington to participate in a workout @ RIPS in front of 35+ Scouts and College Recruiters. This past year's event had scouts from 18 different MLB clubs and recruiters from Cal, UW, WSU, SU, GU, Whitworth, OSU, Spokane Falls CC, Lower Columbia CC, Columbia Basin CC, Bellevue CC, Skagit CC, and Everett CC. This function has grown tremendously over the past 3 years and we hope to bring a "combine flavor" to this event next year. Download our Scout Nite Flyer and Player Information Form.
